Navigating COVID-19 With LW Events

Navigating COVID-19 With LW Events

Talk about extremes! This month has been an exciting one for LW Events. We had another in-person event with The Buckeye Ranch, and it was a phenomenal success. Bringing families, staff, and donors together to have fun on a sunny (but windy) day for a community event was a highlight in a very strange year!

We also had the pleasure of working with Goodwill Columbus on their first virtual fundraiser during the pandemic. They had opted to hold-off on their event last year, so to them, it was a new experience bringing their unique stories together on video. With over 300 people participating, they had an incredible turn-out during a point in the pandemic when most people are experiencing virtual event fatigue. This just shows the power of an amazing team of professionals who worked really hard to produce a compelling video event, as well as the internal team at Goodwill who worked hard to ensure that they got the word out about their Extraordinary People event.

So what do these opposite experiences tell us? Everyone is still trying to navigate the best decisions for their organizations, and that means different things across the board. LW Events is supporting our clients no matter what path they choose, and we will continue to offer in-person, virtual, and hybrid services until it's time to reinvent ourselves again! I will say that it has been so nice to feel like an event planner again, working with amazing clients to articulate their impactful stories. We are so grateful to our clients for being incredible partners, and we look forward to the rest of our fall planning and upcoming holidays!
